Sexual Assault Referral Centre

We offer free, confidential healthcare and compassionate support, in two centres: Bransford (Herefordshire and Worcestershire) and Telford (Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin), to adults (18 years and older) and young people aged 16 and 17 (if clinically appropriate) who have experienced sexual assault, including rape.

Temporary Closure of the Glade SARC (Bransford)

We would like to inform all our potential and current service users that the Glade Adult Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) (Bransford Hub) located in Worcestershire will be temporarily closed from 11:59 PM on Wednesday, 31st July 2024, for approximately 3 to 4 months due to essential maintenance work.

Accessing our SARC services during the closure:

For all service requests and referrals, please continue to call Mountain Healthcare Pathway Support Services on 0330 223 0099 (24/7/365). 

All service users will be diverted to their nearest SARC. The Glade SARC at Telford remains open with no changes to service delivery from this site.

How we can help

Our services include:

  • 24/7/365 acute trauma-informed healthcare and support.
  • Immediate over-the-phone rape and sexual assault support and signposting to specialist services.
  • In-person rape or sexual assault crisis support and healthcare including access to medications, if needed.
  • 24/7/365 Comprehensive Forensic Medical Examinations.
  • Collection and storage of forensic samples.
  • Comprehensive Risk Assessments.
  • Referrals to specialist counselling and Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA) support.
  • Follow-up calls after an appointment.

You will be offered these services based on your individual needs and you can choose to use as much or as little of our service as you wish.
